About Me

Hello! My name is Charlotte and I currently work as the Assistant Director for Incoming Student Services in the International Student & Scholar Services office at Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia.

As the granddaughter of two Returned Peace Corps Volunteers, intercultural friendship and international education have always been part of my life. I grew up hearing stories about life in Pakistan, and always dreamed of traveling abroad myself.

I first studied abroad in Fall 2015 at Université Savoie Mont Blanc in Chambéry, France. When I returned home, I became actively involved on campus with the International Buddy Program and became an alumni ambassador for ISEP. In the summer of 2017, I studied at the University of Oslo International Summer School in Norway. I've also lived and traveled all around the U.S., but I consider Bellingham, WA, my hometown.

After graduating from Western Washington University in 2018, I started my career in international education working for Experience International, a J-1 exchange organization focusing on international exchange in the fields of agriculture, business, science, and technology.

In fall 2019, I started my studies at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies in Monterey, CA. I graduated with my M.A. in International Education Management in December 2020!
